Books Galore

This week is the giant booksale by the American Association of University Women here in the Allentown, Pa area. I went this weekend and had a blast! The AAUW gave me a generous scholarship last year, they are a wonderful bunch. I'm looking forward to joining their organization once I finish my first degree.

What books did I get? The finds include "Burmese Days" by George Orwell. I just love his early non-fiction. You can really feel his anger at society's injustice, even more so than in his fiction. For fun I got "Zen for Cats", I just love them kitties! To go with my library collection I got an old book on library cataloging. And to help me with my Spanish I got a small book of Spanish poetry.
