LoM: Some thoughts - Part1

I just finished the final episode of the Life on Mars series 2. While I am still mulling over the ending to determine my own personal feelings about it I decided to check out some boards to see what others thought.
Just like any enigmatic ending, there were people who loved it, people who thought it was crap and people who (like me) are still scratching their heads. To sum it up, it falls in the category of cult classic endings like "The Prisoner" and "Quantum Leap".
