BookDragon

I love books! What more can I say? Netflix.com provides me with all the DVD’s I can handle. As for books, my thanks go out to Amazon.com, Borders (a chai latte, please!) and all the used book sales I can get to. For anything I can’t find in any of these places, I go to my local library. (Interlibrary Loans are SHINY!)

Pix

I got a picture up on my site again. Its one I used for my Viewmaster collection site I created for a class project. It really ought to be a picture of me hiding behind a book...

Speaking of which I just finished "The Lighthouse" by P.D. James. The last 50 pages as usual are cracking good, full of suspense, with a fabulous end to the mystery. I tell you, Inspector Dalglish is super smart, even when he is suffering from SARS. I can't wait to see this one on TV but I am still upset that Roy Marsden doesn't play him any more.

I started in on my next book "The Case of the Missing Books" by Ian Sansom. I'll let you know what its like.

How am I doing?

I just looked back at my scattered posts and realized that the last real post I made was back in May. Let me catch you all up!

I moved to a big house where I don't have to mow the lawn but I don't really like it here. All my stuff (my precious Booooooks!) are in storage and I miss them a lot. School is still chugging along but my job is fading fast. They just hired someone full time to do most of what I was doing before. I feel so unwanted.

Well, I must cheer up. All this extra time will help me with my school work. I am taking a class in Collection Development and one in Managing Information Organizations. So far so good.

Right now I am in the middle of watching "the Web Planet" episode of Doctor Who and reading "The Lighthouse" by P.D. James.
